*Hauora*
Hauora encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It reflects a holistic approach to wellbeing, emphasizing balance and harmony in all aspects of life.

*Aroha*
Aroha is more than just love; it includes compassion, empathy, and kindness. It encompasses the breath of life and the creative force of the spirit, and signifies a deep, unconditional care for others.

*Manaakitanga*
Manaakitanga is about showing hospitality, generosity, and respect to others. It involves caring for people, making them feel welcome, and ensuring their wellbeing, reflecting the value of kindness in the community.

*Kotahitanga*
Kotahitanga represents unity and collective action. It emphasises the importance of working together, supporting each other, and fostering a sense of togetherness to achieve common goals.

*Whanaungatanga*
Whanaungatanga refers to the bonds and connections between people. It highlights the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships through shared experiences and mutual support, creating a sense of belonging and community.

For me, these words beautifully capture the essence of Māori values and the importance of community, compassion, and holistic wellbeing. Let’s embrace these words and the values they represent. 💖✨ Kia kaha te reo Māori!
